Stillness and arrested action:
Two areas that help create the illusion.they are diffrent in a way of stillness being much more natural. Arrested motion is more human.
in this image the character sora is still while he is swinging his keyblade which is in motion.
Blured outlines and fast shapes:
Shows movement by a blurred image. the object is moving fast and then frozen in stop action photographs.
You can tell how fast sonic the hedgehog is moving by the blur.
